Tory Stroker is an anti-diet Registered Dietitian and Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor who helps moms heal their relationship with food and their bodies.

She works with women who are exhausted by dieting, constantly thinking about food, struggling to trust themselves around eating, or feeling increasingly disconnected from their bodies—especially through the changes and demands of pregnancy, postpartum, infertility, and motherhood.

Many of the women Tory works with want something different for themselves and their families. They want to nourish themselves without rigid food rules or perfectionism. They want to feel more present in their lives instead of spending so much mental energy worrying about food and their bodies. And they want to raise children who trust their bodies without passing down the diet culture messages they grew up with.

Tory completed her Bachelor of Science degree at Skidmore College, followed by her Dietetic Internship and Master of Science in Clinical Nutrition at New York University and Montefiore Medical Center.

Early in her career, Tory found herself drawn to supporting women navigating disordered eating and complicated relationships with food and their bodies. The work felt deeply meaningful and personal, having navigated her own eating disorder recovery.

Wanting to better support clients in moving away from dieting and rebuilding trust with food, Tory continued her training in intuitive eating and studied under Evelyn Tribole to become a Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor.

Now, as a mom of two, Tory understands how easy it can be for a mother’s own needs to fall to the bottom of the list—and how pregnancy, postpartum, infertility, changing bodies, and the pressures of motherhood can bring old food and body struggles to the surface.

Her work helps moms move away from restriction, bingeing, food rules, and constant thoughts about food and toward something different: understanding their bodies’ needs, practicing gentle nutrition, rebuilding body trust, and feeling more confident caring for themselves.

Through an intuitive eating, weight-inclusive, and body image counseling approach, Tory creates a compassionate and collaborative space where clients can look beyond the surface of their eating behaviors and understand what is really keeping them stuck.

This work isn’t about eating perfectly, loving your body every day, or never struggling with food again.

It’s about having the tools to care for yourself through the realities of motherhood. Trusting yourself around food. Feeling more connected to your body. Being present with the people you love.

And creating a relationship with food and your body that you feel good about modeling for the next generation.

Tory is continually humbled to support women as they reclaim the time, energy, and mental space that food and body worries once consumed—and begin using that space to more fully live their lives.
